Brian Christopher Power was born in Coleshill in April 1896. The son of Frederick Arthur Power, a wire manufacturer, and his wife Ellen Mary, Lance Corporal Power was enlisted in to the 14th battalion, Royal Warwickshire Regiment, service number 296. He was killed in action on 23 July 1916. He is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial, France.
